We had a really fun weekend! It was full of sun, friends, and furry animals 🙂
We received some great beach chairs from my parents. They even have holes for your head and arms to read face down!
We went to Poe’s Tavern for lunch after beachin’ on Sullivan’s Island (a restaurant themed after Edgar Allan Poe).
Later that night we met up with some new friends from Cody’s work and attended a free event put on my Yelp in downtown Charleston. It was really fun and we got to experience some new vendors in the area.
After the event, we decided to all stay out and go to some new-to-us places. We started at Proof, a place with a really long and fancy menu of drinks to choose from. Then, we went down two different alleys to get to this in the hole place called Burns Alley. This place was SO HOT (as in no AC on) but we had fun playing skee ball and pool.
Today we started our day with church then went to the humane society to give the animals some lovin’ since we don’t have a dog of our own yet. And can I just say, they are SUPER cute and I wish they could all find great homes!
